This policy explains how IYC Suomi ("we", "us") collects and uses your personal data when you create an account and take part in our volunteering activities through this platform. We keep your data for as long as you have an active volunteer account with us. If you ask us to delete your account, or after a prolonged period of inactivity, we will delete or anonymise your personal data, unless we are required to keep certain information by law.

Our volunteering is open to young people. We collect only the data we need and treat the data of minors with particular care. If you are under 18 and have questions, or if a parent or guardian wishes to contact us, please reach out at suomi@iyouthc.org.

If you believe we have handled your data improperly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (Tietosuojavaltuutetun toimisto), tietosuoja.fi.
